Juliet’s Diary – Entry 8

Dear Diary,

  My mother and father must’ve found my body by now and canceled the wedding plans. I will soon be reunited with Romeo and this plan will succeed because I trust the friar. Paris must’ve seen my body and must be very upset by this, but I will not be with someone I don’t truly love. My heart belongs to Romeo and Romeo only.

  I see me and Romeo already together and waking up in his arms. We’ll be so much happier because as long as we have each other everything will be alright. It makes me happy to know I am staying loyal to my husband although it wasn’t so easy as it sounds like.

Romeo’s Diary – Entry 8

Dear Diary,

  I’m in Mantua all on my own. I have no one but myself and the thought of Juliet. I bet she feels the same way I do but not as much as I think of her. She’ll be alright I’m sure about that, I can trust Friar Lawrence to always check up on her. He’ll also be sending me letters if anything happens and keep me updated.

  Every hour passes by, and everything just feels the same and I cant stop thinking about Juliet. Nothing can possibly happen to her right? She’s going to be safe even if I’m not there for her. I hope Lady and Lord Capulet don’t plan on doing anything to her since she is now getting older and while I’m gone.

  Juliet’s Diary – Entry 6 Dear Diary,   Romeo came to my house to say his last goodbyes. I wanted that moment to last longer. I was hoping my parents didn’t catch him by my window. But Romeo thought the opposite. He wanted to get caught because he thought he rather be dead if that was what I wanted. That was ridiculous. After that, Nurse came in to tell my mother was coming to my bedroom, so I had to say my farewells to Romeo. I had to fake I was crying over Tybalt’s death even though it was because I don’t know when I will be seeing my husband again.   My mother gave me the news that I will be marrying Paris. I obviously denied the offer because I rather marry Romeo which who I am already married to but of course mother didn’t take good. When father heard everything, I said and when I didn’t accept his offer, they both got really angry at me. I’m so upset about this, and I don’t know what to do! I must stay loyal Romeo.   Juliet’s Diary – Entry 3 Dear Diary,   After that party, I went up to my room and got dressed back to my normal clothes and started talking about my dear Romeo. How could he be a Montague? Can’t he just not be a Montague? If he were to say he wasn’t a Montague... I without a doubt will not be a Capulet anymore just for him! If my family hears me saying this, I would most definitely be so done for sure. I sort of feel like someone is overhearing what I’ve been saying all this time.   After that, I heard someone answering everything that came out of my mouth! I looked over at the balcony and saw it was Romeo, the Montague I’m so in love with. I wonder how he found me but besides that we had such a good time talking. We are also talking about marriage and I’m so excited for the ceremony tomorrow. But while we were talking about our plans, Nurse kept interrupting me! Juliet’s Diary – Entry 2 Dear Diary, Today was the party! I was wearing a beautiful costume. Before this party I heard Paris and my father talking about him wanting to marry me, but he said that he has to try to win my over. Why just not say no? I do not wish to marry him. Besides, I met a very handsome guy at the party, and I am so in love with him. We talked for only a few seconds, but I already know he’s the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. He kissed me twice as well. I asked nurse to go and ask for his name. But I just found out he is a Montague from nurse. I’m in love with a Montague? My rival? How could this be?! I hope nurse didn’t hear what I said. But I want him to be the one I marry. If it’s not him then I rather spend the rest of my life alone and die that way.
